Know: Sin Keeps Us From God
Romans 3:23 “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”
Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Know: Christ Brings Us To God
Romans 5:8 “But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Peter 3:18 “For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, in order that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;”
Do: Repent (Turn From Sin To God)
Acts 3:19 “”Repent therefore and return, that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord;”
Do: Receive Christ
John 1:12 “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name,”
Do: Pray
God knows your heart and is not as concerned with your words as He is with the attitude of your heart. The following is a suggested prayer: “Lord Jesus, I need You. Thank You for dying on the cross for my sins. I open the door of my life and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for forgiving my sins and giving me eternal life. Take control of the throne of my life. Make me the kind of person You want me to be.”

He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.
