Shad & Amber Shad and Amber Clark became the directors of North Central Kansas Teens for Christ on February 1st, 2018.
Shad and Amber are newlyweds, married on July 7, 2017. They knew they wanted to do ministry together as a couple, never did they expect that God would provide full time ministry for them within their first year of marriage. They feel incredibly blessed to be taking over a ministry with such rich history in our area. Teens for Christ has been a thriving part of this area for more than thirty-five years!

Shad and Amber grew up in very different homes. Amber came to know the Lord at an early age, going to church with her family. She’s never not known a time without the Lord. Shad grew up in a broken home and experienced years of foster care. After years of brokenness and living in sin he came to know the lord in prison. It took losing his freedom to become truly free in Christ.

Shad and Amber’s varying life stories help them minister to teenagers and their families in North Central Kansas. They can each relate in different ways to the struggles teenagers are facing today. They take their ministry verse to heart 1 Timothy 1:5, NASB: “But the goal of our instruction is love from a pure heart and a good conscience and a sincere faith.”
They believe that to gain a teenagers trust you have to be 100% sincere about your faith and living a life that shows them your faith.

Shad and Amber burst with excitement when it comes to teaching teenagers about faith in Jesus Christ. Teenagers are the future of tomorrow, Proverbs 22:6  (NLT) “Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it.” We believe that it takes a village, a community to raise a child. We are exited to be able to come alongside families in this area, to make a difference in the future of our communities. Teaching teenagers to KNOW Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, to Grow in their faith and to GO share their faith to their friends, families and communities!
